About the role#
This internship offers the chance to work on strategic initiatives and operational improvements within the insurance business. You will join cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights that help drive business decisions. The program lasts 10 weeks during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Analyze insurance data, including claims and policies, to find patterns and opportunities.
- Build dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Map workflows to support process improvement initiatives.
- Develop account loss trend analysis.
- Assist the operations team with assigned projects and research.
- Complete a capstone project and present your findings to senior management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or advanced degree program, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, or Computer Science.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
