About the role#
The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking a Corporate Communications intern for a 10-week summer program. You will work on internal and external projects while gaining professional experience in the insurance industry. This is a full-time, paid position that includes mentorship and development workshops.
What you'll do#
- Support the corporate communications team with internal and external projects.
- Assist with social media initiatives, including channel audits, competitive analyses, and content planning.
- Help develop communications materials such as press releases, media pitches, and executive content.
- Contribute creative ideas and storytelling concepts to company communications.
- Research industry, competitor, and marketplace trends to inform future strategies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or advanced degree program, preferably in Marketing or Communications.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Ability to commit to a full-time 10-week internship.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
