About the role#
Cobec is seeking an organized and resourceful intern to support our Washington, DC office. This role focuses on maintaining a welcoming environment for employees and visitors while assisting with marketing and communications projects. You will work on-site and gain hands-on experience in office operations, event support, and content creation.
What you'll do#
- Serve as a welcoming resource and maintain a regular presence at the front desk.
- Create and update graphics, recruiting materials, presentations, and internal communications.
- Draft social media content and support podcast production.
- Coordinate office supplies, mail, shipping and receiving, and workspace organization.
- Conduct weekly conference-room checks and maintain AV equipment.
- Assist with meeting setup, catering, and new-hire onboarding activities.
- Manage at least one defined project from planning through completion.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or hold a degree or certificate in business, marketing, communications, graphic design, hospitality, human resources, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Outlook and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage changing priorities and use time effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Dependable, organized, and motivated with a sense of ownership.

- Location: Washington, DC.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time (24-32 hours per week).
- Compensation: $19 per hour.
- Note: This position requires passing a background check.
