About the role#
Fenwick is seeking a technology intern to design and build AI-native and agentic workflows. This role supports the operations and growth of the firm. You will work directly with leadership and non-technical domain experts to translate business needs into technical requirements. This is a part-time position that runs from Fall 2026 through Winter 2027.
What you'll do#
- Design and engineer workflows that drive business development and legal operations strategy.
- Build and ship AI-native and agentic tools.
- Work with domain experts to gather feedback and refine technical requirements.
- Develop, test, and iterate on prototypes using evidence-based metrics.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or Economics.
- Minimum of 16 hours of availability per week.
- Hands-on experience with Python and API development.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure Databricks or Microsoft Fabric.
- Ability to translate ideas into working prototypes and iterate based on results.
- Comfort working with non-technical users to explain and refine technical solutions.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, California or Silicon Valley, California.
- The position is part-time and paid at a rate of $21 to $25 per hour.
- Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this role.
