About the role#
The Laptop Donation Specialist acts as the primary contact for individuals, businesses, and organizations looking to donate laptops. You will work with BYU-Pathway Worldwide and external partners to manage the donation process, ensuring donors have a clear and consistent experience. This is a part-time, hybrid position based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Please note that this role does not involve physically receiving or processing donated hardware.
What you'll do#
- Serve as the main point of contact for all laptop donation inquiries.
- Coordinate with donation partners to connect them with the right donors.
- Maintain accurate records of all donation inquiries, partners, and activities.
- Create promotional materials including flyers, emails, and website content to increase awareness.
- Follow up with donors and partners to ensure timely communication.
- Assist with tracking donation metrics and identifying process improvements.
What you'll need#
- Experience in customer service or communicating with community members.
- Strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple tasks, requests, or projects concurrently.
- General familiarity with laptops and technology.
- Ability to draft clear emails and outreach materials.
Location & details#
- Location: Salt Lake City, Utah.
- Residency: Applicants must reside in Utah or Idaho.
- Modality: Hybrid, requiring attendance at the Salt Lake City headquarters 1-3 days per week.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, between 8 am and 5 pm.
- Eligibility: This position is open to members of the Church who are worthy of a temple recommend.
