About the role#
This internship provides experience in supporting systems and delivering services to users at Church headquarters and globally. You will work with leaders to use tools and processes that defend applications, systems, and networks. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position lasting approximately four months.
What you'll do#
- Document and implement controls and practices that meet defined policies and standards for risk and compliance.
- Review logs and reports to identify patterns for signs of irregularities and abnormal behavior.
- Assist in the investigation and analysis of technology audit recommendations.
- Assist in setting up and validating vulnerability scans of applications.
- Assess solution and enterprise level risks to the IT infrastructure and make recommendations for improvement.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled or within one year of graduation from an accredited college or university in Cybersecurity or Computer Science.
- Must be a temple worthy member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
- General knowledge of information security practices, OS fundamentals, and network fundamentals.
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Terms: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
