About the role#
The Data Visualization Analyst Intern will join the Digital & Data Analytics team to help design and build applications for business users. You will report to the data engineering team lead and work on improving how we collect, manage, and visualize data. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position for the Winter 2027 term, running from January through May.
What you'll do#
- Validate AI model output related to chemistry sources.
- Improve existing validation processes.
- Design dashboards and visual analytics using Microsoft Power BI.
- Gather requirements from business users and assist in application design.
- Develop user applications using the full range of Microsoft Azure platform capabilities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at an accredited university as a rising sophomore or above.
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong attention to detail, accurate reading skills, and self-motivation.
- Experience with Microsoft PowerApps, Microsoft Flow, Microsoft Power BI, or Fabric Dataflow.
- Experience with literature reviews and a basic knowledge of chemistry.
