About the role#
The Chemours Company is hiring an Electrical Engineer Co-op for our Manufacturing Technology team in Corpus Christi, Texas. You will work alongside experienced engineering professionals on site, gaining hands-on experience in a chemical plant environment. This is a full-time, paid position requiring a 40-hour work week. We are looking for candidates who can commit to at least six months, with a preference for starting in Spring 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineers on site improvement and expansion projects.
- Assist operations and maintenance teams with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem solving.
- Participate in process safety management activities and reviews.
- Contribute to team meetings and conference calls.
- Support the development of process technology.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at an accredited college or university as a Junior or above.
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of six months, with potential for two or more terms.
