About the role#
We are looking for a motivated Co-op to join our Operations team. You will support brewing department performance and operational excellence initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in brewery operations, equipment performance monitoring, and manufacturing metrics. You will work alongside Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams to monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate opportunities to lower processing losses.
- Assess clean-in-place practices to increase efficiency and improve microbiological stability.
- Collect, analyze, and track performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Support reporting and communication of operational performance metrics to the team.
- Partner with Operations and Maintenance teams to investigate performance losses and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with projects focused on improving equipment reliability, efficiency, and throughput.
- Maintain accurate records of operational performance and project activities.
- Assist in developing presentations, reports, and process documentation related to operational improvements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must continue to be enrolled in school upon completion of the co-op.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret operational data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Interest in manufacturing, brewery operations, and continuous improvement.
- Exposure to packaging or manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Previous internship, co-op, or project experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position located on-site at our brewery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
- The program runs from January 4, 2027, through June 25, 2027.
- Team members are expected to work five days per week on-site.
