About the role#
This paid internship offers exposure to various HR functions including onboarding, employee relations, safety, and payroll. We are currently recruiting for the Fall 2026 term. Priority is given to graduate students and those who have completed their junior year of college.
What you'll do#
- Process HRIS transactions and complete I-9 verification for new employees.
- Facilitate the new-hire onboarding process.
- Complete daily safety walk audits, report issues, and work with the team to mitigate them.
- Plan and organize events for employees.
- Assist with HR initiatives and projects.
- Create help guides, training, and resource materials.
- Review and respond to HR matters such as benefits, compensation, training, payroll, and employee relations.
- Audit time and attendance punches and approvals.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a 4-year Bachelor's or Master's program at an accredited college or university.
- Understanding of relevant legal guidelines and compliance associated with employment.
- Acute attention to detail and strong multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently with little direction.
- Ability to quickly and reasonably prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication skills for formal and informal interactions with customers, vendors, and management.
- Analytical mindset for formulating strategy and presenting data.
- Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency.
