About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee Intern, you will work directly with our vehicle service team in Dedham. This role focuses on hands-on maintenance, inspections, and repairs of Tesla electric vehicles. You will gain experience in our service center while supporting daily operations and customer-facing tasks. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level inspections, repairs, and service on electric vehicles.
- Use a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Complete equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) for new cars.
- Manage inventory records, shop supplies, and parts tracking.
- Assist with vehicle cleanliness for customer cars.
- Support Parts and Front of House operations on a rotational basis.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
- A valid driver license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Strong focus on safety and working well within a team.
- Basic computer skills, including web browsing and Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficiency in English.
