About the role#
The Low Voltage Power Firmware Team manages power distribution and efficiency across all vehicle platforms. You will build the infrastructure, tools, and procedures needed to validate firmware for vehicle components. Your work directly affects the safety and reliability of systems like power redundancy, fault detection, and power management for over-the-air updates. You will work alongside development and integration engineers to ensure high code quality.
What you'll do#
- Architect and implement firmware validation infrastructure, automation, and testing procedures.
- Develop discrete simulation software, including modeling circuitry, hardware peripherals, and emulating bare-metal drivers.
- Design automated processor-in-the-loop testers to validate power domain fault detection.
- Collaborate with engineers to create automated test strategies.
- Evaluate code and functional changes based on vehicle system behaviors.
- Scale validation coverage and optimize build efficiency using cluster computing resources.
- Define metrics to measure the quality and traceability of automated regression tests.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering, with a graduation date between May 2027 and May 2028.
- Proficiency in Python and comprehension of C.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and hardware datasheets.
- Experience with Rust, Altium Designer, HIL/SIL test setups, Git, and Jenkins is preferred.
- A strong interest in improving code robustness and designing testing infrastructure.
