About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee intern, you will work at our service center to perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on Tesla electric vehicles. You will learn about our technology while supporting the team in a customer-facing environment. This is a full-time, paid internship for Fall 2026.
What you'll do#
- Inspect, repair, and service electric vehicles.
- Use a range of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Complete equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections on new cars.
- Manage inventory, track time, and handle shop supplies.
- Help keep customer vehicles clean.
- Support Parts and Front of House operations as needed.
What you'll need#
- A valid driver's license.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair methods.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- A safety-first mindset and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic computer skills, including web browsing and Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with the English language.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
