About the role#
This internship supports the Fleet Operations and Compliance team. You will coordinate fleet initiatives, identify process improvements, and drive efficiency across the business. You will work across several verticals, including Demo and Marketing Fleet, Internal Fleet, Fleet Repair, and Specialized Fleet. This role provides hands-on experience in operations, analytics, and cross-departmental communication.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on initiatives like vehicle allocations, business programs, and metrics.
- Monitor KPI dashboards to track fleet metrics, such as dwell, sell-through rates, conversion rates, and forecasting.
- Analyze data to spot bottlenecks and recommend actions to improve fleet efficiency and readiness.
- Communicate insights, escalations, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
- Support logistics and scheduling for vehicle servicing, repairs, registration, and allocation.
- Contribute to the standardization of processes and improvements in systems and workflows.
- Help minimize vehicle downtime and increase throughput to maximize fleet performance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business Operations, Business Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Experience with dashboards and data tools like Excel, Tableau, or SQL is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- A self-motivated and proactive mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Location & details#
- Location: Chula Vista, California.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January through May 2027).
- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week), on-site.
- Compensation: $20.55 - $35.17 per hour plus benefits.
