About the role#
This internship focuses on the development of mobile features for vehicle service, roadside assistance, and fleet operations. You will work within the Automated Diagnostics team to build tools that allow for remote vehicle diagnosis and automated service scheduling. The goal is to provide a high-performance experience for vehicle owners and fleet operators.
What you'll do#
- Design, code, and maintain end-to-end mobile and frontend user experiences using React and React Native.
- Optimize code to ensure high levels of performance, stability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team including engineers, UI software specialists, QA, and designers.
- Build capabilities that allow for quick and accurate remote diagnosis of vehicle issues.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in React Native for cross-platform development.
- Experience in iOS and Android mobile app development.
- Familiarity with Figma or similar tools for design-to-development workflows.
- A customer-focused mindset with a drive for intuitive user interfaces.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A passion for troubleshooting, improving code quality, and monitoring system efficiency.
- Active enrollment in an academic program, specifically in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
Location & details#
- Location: Palo Alto, California.
- Term: Winter 2027 through Spring 2027.
- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week) on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks.
