About the role#
This is an 8-month accounting co-op position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work within our finance team to gain practical experience while pursuing your CPA designation. This role provides on-the-job training and educational support to help you handle complex financial assignments. You will join a group of co-ops and candidates in our Pre-Approved CPA Program.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform financial analysis.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reports.
- Drive financial reporting, budgeting, analytics, and forecasting.
- Provide financial input to specific projects and business cases.
- Develop a deep understanding of our source systems and internal business processes.
- Work alongside peers, managers, and the senior finance team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Commerce or Business Administration studies with a specialization in Accounting or Finance.
- Active pursuit of a CPA Accounting designation.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and G-Suite, including advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to balance work, school, and life commitments.
- An innovative mindset.
- Completion of one or more previous co-op terms or summer internships is preferred.
- Work experience, community involvement, and team engagement are preferred.
- Bilingualism in English and French is preferred.
- Basic experience using AI tools and technologies is preferred.
