About the role#
This is a 4-month internship for the Fall 2026 term. You will support operational excellence initiatives that help deliver high-quality service to global customers. You will gain hands-on experience with AI-driven automation tools designed to improve efficiency and the customer experience.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop automation workflows using Microsoft Copilot and Power Platform tools.
- Analyze business processes to find opportunities for standardization and AI-driven transformation.
- Build lightweight apps, dashboards, and scripts to support operational reporting and decision-making.
- Translate business requirements into scalable automation solutions.
- Apply data analysis to improve service delivery performance.
What you'll need#
- Completion of a 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business with an operations focus, or enrollment in a Master's degree in these fields.
- Experience with programming or scripting languages from coursework or previous work.
- Foundational knowledge of process improvement, data analysis, and automation concepts.
- A structured, logical approach to problem solving.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, or Power Apps is a plus.
- Ability to explain technical solutions in terms of business outcomes.
Location & details#
- Location: Ottawa, Ontario.
- Modality: Hybrid, with three days per week in the office.
- Employment: Full-time.
- Compensation: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour.
