About the role#
TechInsights is seeking a QA Test Automation Co-op Student to support our platform software quality during the Fall 2026 term. This position offers an opportunity to bridge academic learning with real-world application by working directly with our software development teams in an on-site environment.
What you'll do#
- Design and execute automated test scripts to ensure software meets quality standards.
- Collaborate with software development teams to understand project requirements and create comprehensive test cases.
- Investigate defects, conduct root cause analysis, and work with developers to implement corrective actions.
- Design and implement automated tools to generate reports on QA team performance, test results, and defect trends.
- Build dashboards to visualize key QA metrics and streamline data collection processes.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a 3rd or 4th year university student in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or other scripting languages.
- Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or equivalent.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle and version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
