About the role#
As an Analog Engineer Intern, you will join the Central Engineering team to design and validate FET and BiCMOS circuits for high-speed broadband integrated circuits. You will work on physical layer ICs for high-speed fiber optic data communication, contributing to DSP transceivers that support systems ranging from 10Gbps to 1600Gbps.
What you'll do#
- Understand product requirements and how your specific block integrates into the system.
- Take ownership of a block for delivery into one of Marvell’s DSP transceivers.
- Evaluate tradeoffs between different circuit topologies.
- Perform schematic capture and layout within the Cadence Virtuoso design environment.
- Run schematic-level and post-layout simulations to quantify and optimize circuit performance.
- Document designs and participate in design reviews with the engineering team.
What you'll need#
- MS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of circuit design and transistor-level design.
- Understanding of device physics, feedback, and loop stability analysis.
- Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work on-site.
