About the role#
The Summer Associate Quantitative Rotation Program is a 10-week internship designed to provide hands-on experience in the capital markets sector. You will complete two rotations across different business areas, including Global Markets, Quantitative & Modeling Analytics, and Risk & Valuation. The program includes professional training, peer mentoring, and opportunities to interact with senior leadership. High-performing interns may receive a full-time offer upon completion.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with sales and trading teams to support business objectives.
- Develop analytical tools to research market data, generate trading ideas, and construct portfolios.
- Use data science and statistics to produce actionable, data-driven insights.
- Build mathematical and quantitative models for valuation, risk management, and algorithmic trading.
- Evaluate new products and market data while creating tools to automate and improve workflow efficiencies.
- Present your research, findings, and ideas to the sales and trading teams.
- Collaborate with technology teams on platform builds and enhancements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master’s or PhD program in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Finance, or Economics.
- Expected graduation date between Fall and December 2027.
- Proficiency in computer programming and statistical software, including languages like Python, R, SAS, SQL, Spark, Java, or C++.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively within a team.
