About the role#
This internship offers an introduction to the commercial banking sector. You will gain experience in commercial lending by performing financial, risk, and industry analysis. You will support mid-market businesses as they work toward their financial goals. This role involves creating business proposals that address client needs regarding credit, deposits, and cash management.
What you'll do#
- Learn the fundamentals of commercial lending through financial and risk analysis.
- Work closely with mid-market businesses to help them meet their financial objectives.
- Develop business proposals based on specific client needs for credit, deposits, and cash management.
- Engage in customer-facing activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Intent to return to school at the start of your work term.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
