About the role#
The Summer Analyst Software Engineering Rotational Program is a 10-week internship at TD Securities. This program offers professional development, technical assignments, and networking opportunities. It serves as a feeder program for the full-time FinTech Software Engineer Rotation Program for high-performing interns.
What you'll do#
- Participate on a team with targeted deliverables to develop new functionality and improve existing systems.
- Produce high-quality code and ensure defect-free programming through testing, debugging, and peer code reviews.
- Build new applications and solutions while maintaining consistent quality standards.
- Provide code maintenance and support during testing cycles and post-production deployment.
- Gain exposure to projects such as trade capture, real-time derivatives pricing, risk management, and big data analytics.
What you'll need#
- Graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029 for an undergraduate degree.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Technology Sciences.
- Basic knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Angular, React, SQL, NoSql, C++, C#, Java, Scala, Python, NodeJS, RESTful APIs, Hadoop stack, or Spark API.
- US Citizenship or Permanent Residency status.
