About the role#
We are looking for a student to support government and public affairs activities in Washington, DC. This internship provides exposure to public policy, regulatory developments, and legislative processes. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support informed business decision-making and gain hands-on experience in stakeholder relations.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research to support team members and business initiatives.
- Prepare summaries of U.S. legislative activities, including hearings and legislation.
- Track and monitor regulatory developments relevant to our business.
- Coordinate meeting logistics and assist with preparation for internal and external stakeholder meetings.
- Support general office and administrative tasks.
- Assist with additional projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Political Science or related degree program.
- Completion of at least one academic term before May 2027.
- Commitment to return to full-time studies immediately following the work term.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week from May 2027 to August 2027.
- Familiarity with U.S. politics and Congress.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong writing skills.
- Ability to analyze information, handle ambiguity, and multi-task effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for team collaboration.
- A commitment to safety and the ability to demonstrate our corporate values.
