About the role#
The R&D Intern position is a summer opportunity based at the manufacturing plant in Middlefield, Ohio. This role focuses on manufacturing and process-related projects designed to prepare students for future careers in research and development within a production setting.
What you'll do#
- Execute projects focused on manufacturing and process improvements.
- Work directly within a production environment, which includes variable work conditions.
- Adhere to all facility safety protocols and practices.
- Lift or move materials and products weighing up to 20 lbs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
- A strong desire to understand technical systems and a commitment to solving problems.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Self-driven approach to completing tasks.
