About the role#
The Store Executive Intern program is a paid, 40-hour per week, hands-on training experience designed to prepare you for a career in retail leadership. Over the course of the summer, you will gain a realistic preview of the Executive Team Leader role by working closely with mentors and store managers. You will be introduced to multiple areas of the store business, with a focus on leading teams, identifying priorities, and delivering guest service.
What you'll do#
- Drive guest experience and impact store performance, including financial, team, and operational results.
- Lead and motivate a team, providing ongoing feedback and coaching to team members.
- Plan daily goals and organize work plans to support business priorities.
- Partner with leadership to address team member performance, teach, and train staff.
- Spend time on the sales floor and in the backroom to align the team on daily priorities.
- Resolve guest issues and ensure a welcoming, safe, and inclusive store environment.
- Review business reporting and guest insights to troubleshoot and improve performance.

- A flexible schedule that includes availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including climbing ladders and lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds.
- Candidates typically pursuing degrees in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or Psychology.
