About the role#
This paid, full-time internship offers a hands-on preview of the Executive Team Leader role. Over the course of the summer, you will work closely with mentors and store leadership to develop a deep understanding of retail business operations. You will spend your time leading teams, identifying store priorities, and ensuring a high-quality guest experience.
What you'll do#
- Drive guest experience and impact overall store performance.
- Lead, motivate, and coach a team of hourly members and team leaders.
- Plan daily goals and organize operational plans for your department.
- Teach, train, and provide timely feedback to team members to ensure growth.
- Address team concerns and remove obstacles to maintain smooth daily operations.
- Partner with mentors to learn department leadership and business strategies.
- Participate in daily huddles and present summaries of results and priorities.
- Engage with guests to solve needs and ensure a welcoming environment.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in pursuing a career in retail management.

- Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
- Effective communication skills and a welcoming, helpful attitude.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology needs.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds and climbing ladders.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or Psychology.
