About the role#
This is a 10-week, project-based internship starting in Summer 2027. You will gain a realistic preview of the Financial Analyst role at Target. The program provides training and development to help you grow as a Financial Analyst Development Program intern. You will work with Financial Planning and Analysis teams through mentorship, job shadows, and panels with senior leaders.
What you'll do#
- Manage a project from start to finish.
- Present your project results to business leadership.
- Gain insights into areas including budgeting, technology, property investments, sales forecasting, or financial modeling and reporting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program for Finance or Accounting.
- Intermediate level of Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, collaboration, and decision-making abilities.
- A commitment to ongoing learning and growth.

- This position is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- This is an on-site, full-time internship.
- This position is paid at a rate of $28.00 per hour.
