About the role#
This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in retail management by working directly with an Executive Team Lead mentor. This program provides a realistic preview of the Assistant Store Manager role, helping you develop the skills to lead teams, drive sales, and manage store operations.
What you'll do#
- Lead and support the execution of daily store operations.
- Work alongside your mentor to understand department leadership.
- Plan daily goals and organize tasks within the building.
- Provide new ideas and recommend solutions to business or team opportunities.
- Engage with guests in a welcoming way to solve their needs.
- Spend time on the sales floor and in the backroom to align the team on priorities.
- Coach team members and provide performance feedback.
- Review business reports and guest insights to identify opportunities.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in retail management.
- Leadership skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Candidates should be pursuing degrees in fields such as Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology, Communications, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.

This role is available in Altoona, Monroeville, Gibsonia, Pittsburgh, Cranberry Twp, Washington, Greensburg, Homestead, North Huntingdon, State College, Uniontown, and Monaca, Pennsylvania. It is also available in Morgantown, Triadelphia, and Bridgeport, West Virginia.
