About the role#
Taft College is hiring student workers to serve as tutors within the Learning Center. This position supports students across various subjects and helps maintain the daily operations of the center.
What you'll do#
- Provide academic assistance in the writing and math labs.
- Help students in specific subject areas based on faculty recommendations and your transcript.
- Offer support through online tutoring and embedded tutoring sessions.
- Cover the front desk when necessary.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at Taft College in at least 6 units.
- Good academic standing.
- A minimum grade of B in the subject areas you intend to tutor.
- Ability to maintain enrollment and grade eligibility throughout the duration of your assignment.
