About the role#
Taft College is hiring a Student Worker to support the TIL program. This is a paid, on-site position with a rolling term. It is intended for students studying Business Administration.
What you'll do#
You will assist TIL staff and students with program implementation, individualized plans, and campus resources. Daily tasks vary across several departments:
- Food service: Prepare and serve meals, wash dishes, sanitize tables, and rotate food.
- Facilities and grounds: Rake, sweep, collect garbage, clean bathrooms, dust, vacuum, and set up for events.
- Office support: Operate the shredder, manage classroom and copy room supplies, and prepare mailings.
- Technical support: Maintain computers, install software, and manage ink and toner cartridges.
- Vehicle care: Clean the interior and exterior of college vehicles.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- You must be punctual for all assigned shifts and tasks.
- The ability to work independently within a team.
- Comfort working with students, staff, and faculty from diverse backgrounds and identities.
