BLP Intern – Data Analytics

About the role#

The Business Leadership Program (BLP) Summer Internship is a 10-week, full-time paid assignment. This program provides interns with project work that contributes to business innovation and includes an immersive orientation, networking opportunities with company leaders, and ongoing mentorship. This role is designed for students seeking to gain hands-on experience in data analytics by working alongside industry experts.

What you'll do#

• Develop strategies to drive sales performance and loyalty programs for retail partners.
• Support retail growth by advising on new store locations based on current performance data.
• Assess the performance of risk initiatives and track the health of client portfolios.
• Analyze public sentiment to provide insights into the customer experience.
• Identify and deliver strategic insights to present to stakeholders and clients.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
• Excellent academic record with a minimum overall 3.0 GPA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to synthesize diverse information to develop and recommend strategies.
• Prior data mining experience is helpful.
