About the role#
As a Project Engineer Intern at Swinerton Builders, you will assist in the administration of the field office to help reach project profitability and schedule goals. This is a full-time, paid internship role that operates on a rolling basis. You will work on-site at our Los Angeles or Santa Ana locations.
What you'll do#
- Update and maintain all sets of drawings, specifications, and logs.
- Assist with the maintenance and updating of CPM schedules.
- Process submittals and maintain submittal logs.
- Process RFI's and maintain RFI logs on the CMS system.
- Input data for labor cost reports and field quantity surveys.
What you'll need#
- A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or an architectural field, either completed or in progress.
- The ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
- Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
- The ability to use independent judgment and work as a self-starter.
