About the role#
This is a part-time student position within the GRS Operations team. You will support Plan Sponsors, Members, and Advisors by managing client inquiries and handling the daily administration of a specific block of business. This role is ideal for students pursuing studies in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics who want to gain experience in financial services.
What you'll do#
- Manage day-to-day administration tasks while meeting established service standards.
- Process and analyze daily transactions for control accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Verify daily output and perform necessary corrections on member accounts.
- Track your assigned work using internal management systems.
- Identify trends in inquiries or transactions and share client feedback with leadership to help improve processes.
- Escalate client complaints or complex issues to the Client Service Lead or Manager.
- Participate in team meetings and huddles to keep colleagues informed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program related to Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Knowledge of GRS products such as RRSPs, DCPPs, and DPSPs.
- Proficiency with PC software, with a strong focus on Excel.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and speed while managing high work volumes.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work well within a team.
