About the role#
This internship offers a hands-on introduction to medical technology sales within our Orthopaedics division. You will work directly with our sales and operations teams in Cincinnati during the summer of 2027. This position requires a full-time commitment and involves significant field-based activity.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to gain insight into branch operations.
- Learn selling skills, processes, and instrument use techniques through direct coaching and mentorship.
- Prepare a project segment that develops a target account list or a marketing strategy.
- Assist the warehouse team in assembling and breaking down instrument kits and preparing products for surgery.
- Support Sales and Field Operations teams with assigned special projects.
- Assist team members with the delivery of kits to and from customer accounts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, or Communications.
- Status as a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership and business acumen skills.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
