About the role#
As a Business Development Summer Analyst, you will join one of two teams: U.S. Institutional or U.S. Wealth. You will work alongside senior members to build the firm's presence and manage relationships with clients across the United States. This 10-week program includes participation in the AQR Quanta Academy, a series of educational and networking events.
What you'll do#
- Interact with sophisticated investors and senior investment professionals.
- Build technical knowledge of the firm's product suite and the competitive landscape.
- Support senior team members with business strategy, including new product development.
- Work with the Business Development team to customize marketing materials for clients and prospects.
- Coordinate responses to investor inquiries.
- Gain exposure to senior leadership within investment teams.
What you'll need#
- You are a student graduating in December 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Preferred majors include Economics, Finance, Business, or a Science, Quantitative, or Engineering program. Liberal arts students with relevant work experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to present with maturity, credibility, and clarity.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You are detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn.
