About the role#
As an Engineering Summer Analyst, you will join our teams to work on projects that support business and investment functions. You will gain hands-on experience by contributing to systems that are critical to our operations and investment processes. This 10-week program includes the AQR Quanta Academy, a series of over 40 hours of educational and networking events.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy technical solutions.
- Build scalable applications and services.
- Develop APIs and backend systems.
- Design user interfaces and data visualization tools.
- Work with large and complex datasets.
- Enhance cloud-based infrastructure and distributed systems.
- Improve developer tools, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Research and implement new technologies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
- A mature, thoughtful approach to problem-solving.
- Curiosity and a desire to understand the underlying details of complex systems.
- Eagerness to learn in an intellectual environment.
