About the role#
This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on internal software applications that directly support our manufacturing operations. You will work alongside experienced developers to build and maintain tools that improve day-to-day processes for our workforce. This role provides direct exposure to the full software development lifecycle and allows you to collaborate with teams across the company to solve real-world technical challenges.
What you'll do#
- Participate in software development projects alongside experienced developers.
- Review, analyze, and modify applications through coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Build and enhance internal web applications using C#, HTML, Blazor, Microsoft SQL, and Microsoft Azure.
- Design and implement new features to improve user experience, navigation, and system performance.
- Collaborate with team members in Agile-style development meetings.
- Support software users by assisting with bug fixes, troubleshooting, training, and IT-related requests.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Preferred GPA of 2.7 or higher.
- Foundational knowledge of C#, HTML, and SQL.
- Familiarity with web development frameworks such as .NET and TypeScript.
- Understanding of database management and query writing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented approach to coding standards and documentation.
