About the role#
This is a paid, full-time sales internship based in Columbia City, Indiana. You will work on-site to support the sales team within our Structural and Rail Division. This role provides exposure to the full sales cycle and the manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished steel products.
What you'll do#
- Manage customer service functions and respond to inquiries.
- Assist Inside Sales Representatives with order entry and quote preparation.
- Address questions regarding product availability and delivery status.
- Maintain and update pricing information and freight equalization data.
- Prepare and distribute reports to assist with sales operations.
- Collaborate with production, operations, and shipping teams to understand the business.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Business Administration or Marketing.
- Completion of your junior year of college.
- A GPA of at least 2.7 is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to multitask, manage changing priorities, and maintain strict confidentiality.
