About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Sales Internship for Summer 2027. You will join a global team to work on business projects, develop project management skills, and gain function-specific knowledge over 12 weeks. The sales function at Belden focuses on consultative relationships to help clients solve complex infrastructure challenges in areas like data centers, hospitals, and transit systems.
What you'll do#
- Build training and enablement strategies for partner programs.
- Research territories to identify market trends and prepare account plans.
- Investigate and create outreach plans to drive lead and opportunity generation.
- Develop templates for target accounts and key account maps.
- Analyze sales performance data to support continuous improvement and automation efforts.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Professional Sales, or a related field, completed within the last two years or expected by June 2027.
- Previous internship or project experience involving customer-facing or cross-functional work.
- Strong communication, analytical, and collaboration skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and a bias for action.
- A willingness to relocate for rotational assignments.
