About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Richmond, Indiana. You will join our R&D Cable team to work on hands-on engineering projects. This role requires you to work on-site at our facility.
What you'll do#
- Perform tests and studies on products to find and resolve inconsistencies.
- Run simulations to support engineering projects.
- Create Design of Experiment (DOE) plans to determine optimal study conditions.
- Write new test procedures and train technicians on how to use them.
- Help laboratory technicians with ongoing product engineering tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's program for Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Previous internship or work experience in a laboratory or testing environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- High learning agility and a drive to take initiative.
- Technical curiosity and a bias for action.
- Authorization to work in the United States. We cannot provide visa sponsorship for this position.
- Willingness to relocate for rotational assignments.
- Exposure to cable design is preferred.
