About the role#
This is a full-time, on-site internship at our headquarters in El Segundo, California. This program is designed as a pathway to a career at Space Kinetic, where interns are integrated into core technical teams to contribute to mission-critical projects. Interns are paired with a mentor and are evaluated for potential full-time employment based on performance, initiative, and collaboration. This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week for a three-month term.
What you'll do#
- Support the day-to-day operation and growth of the enterprise IT environment.
- Work alongside experienced systems administrators and engineers.
- Gain hands-on experience in endpoint management, networking, cybersecurity, hardware deployment, and end-user support.
- Provide monthly progress updates to the leadership team.
- Contribute to mission-critical projects and technical problem-solving.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and common desktop applications.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting, including IP addresses, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity.
- Ability to work with minimal direction, learn quickly, and apply strong analytical skills.
- Must meet U.S. government export regulations (ITAR requirements).
