About the role#
Space Kinetic is offering a full-time IT internship designed as a pathway to potential long-term employment. This program integrates interns into core technical teams to work on mission-critical projects. You will be paired with a mentor and provide monthly progress updates to the leadership team. This is an onsite role requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week for a three-month duration.
What you'll do#
- Support the daily operations and growth of the enterprise IT environment.
- Work alongside experienced systems administrators and engineers.
- Gain hands-on experience in endpoint management, networking, cybersecurity, hardware deployment, and end-user support.
- Contribute to mission-critical projects and participate in performance evaluations for potential full-time career opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and common desktop applications.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting, including IP addresses, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity.
- Ability to work with minimal direction, learn quickly, and apply strong analytical skills.
- Preferred experience includes Microsoft 365, Active Directory, hardware troubleshooting, imaging or deploying Windows computers, and familiarity with ticketing systems or cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Must meet U.S. government export regulation requirements (ITAR).
