About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Carrollton, Georgia. You will join the Solutions Partner Distributor team to support the development of case studies and documentation for wire center solutions. The program focuses on applying academic studies to real-world projects, concluding with a presentation at a senior leadership expo.
What you'll do#
- Develop a project timeline, provide progress updates, and prepare a final delivery for a senior leadership expo.
- Research and identify alternatives, best practices, and solutions for wire cutting processes.
- Document differences between standard methodologies and your proposed solutions.
- Propose standard operating procedures for the onboarding of Solutions Partner Distributors.
- Participate in wire center shadow days to learn how to optimize workflows.
- Observe and detail time-motion studies to support recommendations for improving safety and throughput.
- Collaborate on projects with peers and company leaders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Engineering.
- A minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Experience in systems thinking and process management.
- Strong organization, planning, and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats.
- Proven working experience in a team environment is a plus.
