About the role#
We are looking for a Service Technician Intern to join our team in Colfax. This is a paid, full-time internship that offers hands-on experience with material handling equipment. You will work on-site and participate in training activities to build your technical skills.
What you'll do#
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and other makes of lift trucks.
- Perform planned maintenance on customer equipment.
- Complete and process paperwork after finishing each job.
- Take part in required training activities.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a technical degree program.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Understanding of electrical and electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with customer care.
- Ability to operate lift trucks safely.
