About the role#
The Chandler Center at Southern New Hampshire University is hiring a Student Service Coordinator. This part-time role involves acting as a liaison between the university and community-based non-profit organizations. You will help coordinate service projects and support student volunteers in the field.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain relationships with local non-profit partners.
- Prepare student volunteers to engage with community issues.
- Provide office support for The Chandler Center, including answering phones and assisting visitors.
- Manage data entry for center databases and track student participation records.
- Drive center minivans to transport volunteers to service sites.
- Attend bi-weekly staff meetings on Monday evenings.
- Represent the center with professionalism.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Undergraduate or Graduate Day program at SNHU.
- A valid driver's license.
- Experience with community service or civic engagement is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Excel, Qualtrics, and Canva.
- An interest in building leadership skills.
- While all majors are welcome, students in Political Science, Sociology, History, Criminal Justice, or Communications are encouraged to apply.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position based in New Hampshire.
- The role is part-time, averaging approximately 12 hours per week.
- Schedule is flexible and may include weekdays, early evenings, and weekends.
- Pay ranges from $13.00 to $15.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
