About the role#
This internship provides exposure to the alcohol distribution industry. You will gain experience across various business areas, including merchandising, sales, marketing, special events, and warehouse operations. The program is designed to help you understand the relationship between marketing, sales, and distribution.
What you'll do#
- Work with various teams to learn about all aspects of the company.
- Participate in training sessions, on-site meetings, and department-wide learning opportunities.
- Assist with On-Premise Surveys.
- Support the team with projects defined by your specific learning goals.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalency plus one year of experience.
- Minimum 2.0 GPA.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to motivate others and build working relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and related software applications.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle presentation development and delivery.
- Ability to walk, bend, reach, stand, squat, and stoop for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently lift, lower, push, carry, or pull up to 48 pounds.
- Ability to operate machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and battery change stations.
- Availability to work extended hours, overtime, weekends, and peak-season schedules as required.
