About the role#
The Cloud Datacenter Department manages infrastructure for both cloud and on-prem environments. Within this department, the Cloud Operations team focuses on public cloud infrastructure. We are responsible for the security and compliance of all cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, decommissioning, continuous monitoring, networking, and providing reusable infrastructure-as-code modules for application teams.
What you'll do#
- Operate Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) capabilities to provide visibility into cloud misconfigurations, policy violations, configuration drift, exposed resources, and excessive permissions.
- Provide day-to-day security engineering and operational support for enterprise AWS, Azure, and GCP environments, such as creating IAM permissions, setting up VPCs, and decommissioning accounts.
- Analyze and consult with application teams to provide solutions for networking issues in multi-account, network-segmented environments.
- Identify opportunities to automate operational workflows and streamline daily operations.
- Find cloud cost optimization opportunities and perform charge-back reporting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Cloud governance experience, with a focus on Cloud IAM, privileged access, SCPs, and resource-based policies.
- Ability to develop and use REST or GraphQL APIs to integrate distributed systems.
- Exposure to multi-account structures, network security, and segmentation.
- Proficiency in Python or another programming language.
- Knowledge of CSPM tools and their APIs, FinOps platforms, and monitoring tools.
- Understanding of how Gen AI Agents are secured in specific cloud platforms.
