About the role#
The Business Resilience team helps Sony Pictures Entertainment prepare for, respond to, and recover from business disruptions. You will work within the Security & Safety organization to partner with business leaders, identify critical functions, and assess operational risks. This role supports the broader mission of integrating business continuity, emergency preparedness, and crisis management.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate resilience planning activities across business units, including stakeholder outreach and scheduling.
- Support the development of Business Impact Assessments and workaround planning.
- Document information from workshops, track outstanding items, and help complete plans.
- Create program dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools to monitor continuity milestones.
- Attend development meetings to capture action items and key decisions.
- Identify ways to improve program processes, workflows, and tracking tools to increase efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Emergency Management, Organizational Leadership, Risk Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional stakeholder interaction.
- Ability to work independently and manage complex assignments.
- Experience coordinating projects, programs, or events in an academic, professional, or volunteer setting.
- Analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or SharePoint.
- Interest in business continuity, crisis management, or operational planning.
- Experience developing process improvements or project tracking systems.
