    About the role#

    We are looking for a software developer co-op to join our CI/CD and infrastructure team. You will work within our Foundational Systems and Experiences Engineering organization to support development teams building experiences for PlayStation players. Our team manages infrastructure and pipelines for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, web, mobile, and PC platforms.

    What you'll do#

    • Build and maintain tools, libraries, applications, and infrastructure for CI/CD pipelines.
    • Write clear, functional code to support developer workflows.
    • Use metrics to prioritize tasks and measure the effectiveness of your work.
    • Improve infrastructure reliability and overall engineering productivity.
    • Construct tooling to monitor system health and performance.
    • Collaborate with engineers to balance priorities across multiple teams.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a Computer Science or Computer Engineering program.
    • An interest in identifying manual processes and designing automation.
    • Experience or curiosity regarding tools and frameworks used to improve existing systems.
    • The ability to work well within a team of engineers.

    • Location: Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
    • Work Modality: Hybrid.
    • Employment Type: Full-time.
    • Compensation: $27.50 to $47.10 CAD per hour.
    • Term: Rolling.
