About the role#
Society Insurance is seeking a Human Resources intern for the Summer of 2027. You will work from our corporate office in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. This is a full-time, paid position. You will support our HR team with daily operations, project work, and employee engagement initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting jobs and reviewing candidate information.
- Support onboarding and orientation activities for new hires.
- Create internal HR communications, including newsletter articles and digital signage.
- Plan and coordinate employee events and training sessions.
- Support various HR projects through research and document preparation.
- Participate in employee engagement activities like wellness programs and appreciation events.
- Provide administrative support through file organization, HRIS data entry, and updating position descriptions.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- You have achieved full-time junior or senior collegiate status.
- You maintain a 3.0 or better cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- You possess a foundational knowledge of Human Resources topics.
- You have strong organizational skills and pay close attention to detail.
- Completion of at least one HR course is highly preferred.
