About the role#
Smythe LLP is seeking an Audit Articling Student to join the Audit Practice Group in Vancouver for a full-time position starting in September 2027. This role is part of the CPA External Audit Pathway and focuses on professional development through mentorship, coaching, and hands-on experience in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Complete audit engagements for privately-held companies across various industries.
- Prepare corporate and other tax returns.
- Work directly with clients to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Partner with a dedicated coach to guide professional development and career growth.
- Gain skills and experience to assist in reaching your professional potential.
What you'll need#
- Completion of all CPA PREP prerequisites.
- Eligibility to commence the CPA PEP program.
- Motivation to pursue career growth within the accounting profession.
- Ability to cultivate meaningful professional relationships.
- Willingness to engage in mentorship through the CPA program.
- Academic background in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

- Compensation: $55,000 per year.
