About the role#
Smythe LLP is seeking an Articling Student to join the Private Companies (PRIVCO) practice group in Vancouver. This full-time position begins in September 2027 and is pre-approved within the CPA Assurance, Compilation, and Tax (ACT) pathway. You will receive comprehensive training and support as you work toward your professional designation.
What you'll do#
- Partner with a dedicated coach to guide your professional development and career growth.
- Complete compilations and reviews for privately-held companies across various industries.
- Prepare corporate, personal, and other tax returns.
- Work directly with clients to cultivate meaningful professional relationships.
What you'll need#
- Completion of all CPA PREP prerequisites.
- Eligibility to commence the CPA PEP program.
- Status as a candidate pre-approved within the CPA ACT pathway.
- Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

- Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
- Term: Commencing September 2027.

- Compensation: $55,000 per year.
